GENERAL COUNSEL & CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Lorne is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Dextra, responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters. He serves as an observer on Dextra’s Investment Committee.

Before joining Dextra in 2023, Lorne was Managing Director and General Counsel of Apogem Capital (and its predecessor, GoldPoint Partners) for 17 years. Before GoldPoint, Lorne was Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, and previously an Associate at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, focused on corporate transactions and securities financings.

Lorne has a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from New York Law School.
